Protein is the main building block of muscle and many bodybuilders fail to consume enough protein. Your exact protein requirements will depend on your body weight, as well as your specific training regimen. By not
consuming enough protein, you are depriving your muscles and they will not be able to rebuild properly. Also, be sure that you do not assume too much protein as this can be dangerous and overtax your digestive system.
Additionally, try to eat as healthy as possible. Try to avoid processed foods as much as you can, and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Your muscles will respond better and you will feel better. Many bodybuilders will have a very good workout, and then go eat at a fast food restaurant. By doing this, you are essentially sabotaging your training efforts.
Anyone who trains a few times a week should also be taking some type of vitamin and mineral supplement. Many of the commercial protein shakes on the market will contain all the supplements you need in one product. Because bodybuilders put a lot of stress on their bodies, they require these additional nutrients that are often lacking in the food we eat.

The biggest mistake most people make when trying to add muscle is not eating enough. Your muscle needs to be fed.

Good site. I constantly work out hard at least 3 times a week and after a demanding session your body needs the finest quality protein to mend you for your subsequently workout. I at all times go for lean protein as the most excellent muscle building food, in essence chicken, turkey along with fish. I also consume scrambled egg whites for breakfast.I in general combine these meals with a complex carbohydrate as well as veg as well. I stay away from protein shakes because I perceive them as a waste of money, the body is intended to digest food and drinks lack the thermic affect of foods.
guys i hate being ugly and fat i need tips any tips guys
Hiya Kim,
At age 20 you shouldn’t need to take ammio fuel, a proper diet can supply you with all the natural nutrients you need. You wanna pack on muscle? 5 to 6 meals a day with a balance of protiens, carbs, and fats. Portioning each food group such as meat, carb, and veggies should be the size of your palm. Meal replacement shakes can be good but no more replacing 2 of the 5 to 6 meals a day. As with anything find what works best for you, avoid processed foods, stick with more whole foods, and minimize supplements intake. I use a protien shake twice a day on workout days and a intra-workout drink during workouts (Size On, Gaspari nutriention). Drink plenty of water before meals and after.
Remember this, one does not grow muscles lifting weights, they grow muscle with proper diet, and rest from having workout intensly. Eat right, get sleep 7 to 8 hours. If your not soaking wet after a workout your intensity is not there and need to step it up a notch.
Finding the right gym can help too, avoid the meet market gym, family fitness centers. You want to take your training seriously? find a serious gym with professionalls in teh field of bodybuilding, nutrietion, and proper environment for you to focus on you, and not teh girl flirting with everyone in teh gym distracting you from your goals. Reach your goals and you will be the one people look at in awe.
Good luck to you.
